Educational Qualification (Trade-wise)

Simple breakdown:

• Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant):
  B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, Maths.
• Fitter Apprentice:
  Matric + ITI in Fitter.
• Boiler Apprentice:
  B.Sc. with PCM.
• Technician Apprentice (Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation):
  3-year Diploma with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
• Secretarial Assistant:
  B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com.
• Accountant:
  B.Com.
• Data Entry Operator (DEO):
  12th Pass (Freshers allowed).
  OR 12th + Skill Certificate.

Age Limit

• Min: 18 years
• Max: 24 years

Relaxation:

• SC/ST: +5 years
• OBC: +3 years
• PwBD: +10 years

4. Selection Process

The selection is very simple:

• IOCL will make a merit list based on the marks in your qualification.
• No written test will be conducted.
• If two candidates have the same marks, the older candidate ranks higher.

Step 1: Register on Government Apprenticeship Portals

You must register before applying on IOCL website.

• For ITI, Degree, 12th Trades:
  Register on NAPS: apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
• For Diploma Trades:
  Register on NATS: nats.education.gov.in

Step 2: Apply on IOCL Website

1. Go to the IOCL Apprenticeship Recruitment page.
2. Choose the refinery where you want to apply.
3. Fill your personal and educational details.
4. Enter your NAPS/NATS Registration Number.
5. Upload photo and signature (max 50 KB).
6. Submit the form and take a printout for document verification.
