Job Description
Boeing is seeking an experienced Information Systems First Line Manager to join our Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) team.
This role will focus on managing the Enterprise Supply Chain Transportation Product and Systems, working closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure system stability, innovation, and value delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development and maintenance, ensuring stakeholder needs are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, peers, and direct reports.
- Manage a team of IT professionals, motivating and guiding them toward success.
- Champion Boeing’s cultural values of safety, quality, and integrity.
- Oversee scope, timelines, budgets, risks, quality, and deliverables for transportation systems.
- Provide regular product updates to the EBS Leadership Team and business stakeholders.
- Drive improvements in business processes and systems through collaboration.
- Manage the product backlog and align priorities with strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance, address system issues, and oversee technical debt remediation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage external resources as needed.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- 12+ years of experience in the IT industry.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing teams, projects, or initiatives.
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace or domestic/international transportation.
- 3+ years of experience working with information systems (directly or via business teams).
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Experience managing product costs and budgets.
- Advanced digital literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of transportation management systems (e.g., Blue Yonder Parcel, SAP).
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) with at least 12 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
