Role Overview
The Junior Process Executive – MRR is responsible for retrieving medical records from healthcare facilities on behalf of health plans and clients for both retrospective and prospective reviews. This is a full-time role requiring flexibility to work across 8-hour shifts during standard business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Retrieve medical records remotely from healthcare providers and facilities in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with US federal and state regulations related to medical record retrieval.
- Review records for completeness and accuracy, and manage them through electronic health record systems.
- Maintain a tracking system to monitor the progress of record requests.
- Communicate updates with internal teams on retrieval status.
- Perform Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) checks as needed.
- Support process improvement initiatives, including testing and implementing new tools for efficiency.
- Work responsibly with PHI/PII data, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Assist with team collaboration and contribute to organizational growth opportunities.
- Adhere to company policies, directives, and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
- Minimum 6 months of BPO experience (Non-voice process) with strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (data entry, sorting/filtering, tables), and Outlook (emails and calendar).
- Flexibility to work different shifts, Saturdays, and Indian holidays.
